What to Expect When You Visit

What should I wear?

While many of our members prefer to dress in their "Sunday best," a number of our members subscribe to the idea that one should "come as you are." At Liberty, we are more concerned about being a blessing to you than we are about what attire you choose to wear. Indeed, however you decide to dress, we encourage you to be comfortable.

A warm greeting

You can expect a heartfelt welcome at Liberty Baptist Church. Come expecting to be noticed and to be reached out to in love from our community of faith. Our greeters will assist you with directions to the sanctuary and restrooms. Upon entering into the sanctuary, an Usher will hand you a worship bulletin and help you find a seat.

When you attend a worship service

Our worship experience starts at 10:15 am and typically concludes between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm. During our time together, we sing songs, read scripture, pray, and give of our financial resources. Additionally, we hear our pastor speak a spirit-filled message from the Word of God that challenges us to live a kingdom centered life.

At the end of each worship experience, we pause for the most important part of the service: the Invitation to Discipleship. It is at this time that those seeking to establish a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, recommit their life to the Lord, or to become members of our community of faith are extended an invitation to come forward. We have Decision Team Counselors who are ready to receive you and speak with you one-on-one about your specific decision.

At the conclusion of worship service, we invite all visiting guests to stop by our guest table in the foyer area to pick up a gift. This is our way of saying thank you for taking the time to visit with us.
